So I'd chosen my trucking school, ma paid for it, and I showed up for the first day. Welcome. Smiling faces, hand shakes, and piles and piles of paperwork on each desk. No party hats (they really should have party hats) but, oh well, what do they know?



All that they really accomplish by trying to scare you is filling you with a lack of trust and loyalty towards them. Most large companies are full of drivers that have hit bridges, rolled JD Truck Training Centre, been late for deliveries, and on and on. Does this mean you won't ever get fired? Certainly not. I've been fired a few times by idiots I've never met on some committee making decisions based on little or no real facts or understanding about me or my situation.

Many of the better private schools will have a wide range of training including several weeks of practice at backing up the truck, classroom coverage of everything from log books to maps and routing to air brakes and vehicle inspection. They will also have several weeks of training out on the local roadways. Make sure they will give you the necessary training to get ALL of your endorsements including hazmat, tankers, doubles and triples, and people (buses). Make sure you get ALL of these. It only requires a very short written test and can also severely limit your job opportunities if you leave them out.

Since the economy is facing challenges and people are suffering job losses and layoffs. Trucking industry remains the number one option for the jobless people to secure a truck driving job. However, you need to attend a Truck driving school before you establish yourself in this industry. One most straight forward way is that you attend any independent truck driving school. This will cost you more somewhere around $3000- $7000. If you do not have enough money to pay for the fees you can take a government loan to pay for the fees. The loans are easily approved keeping in mind the trucking industry is ever blooming and they get there loans paid back easily. The pay back period usually starts 6 months after you complete the course.

If we check out the technical points related to the two type of schooling then the independent school will teach you trucking lessons from scratch. They will teach you every lesson to get a successful truck driver job and fit into any truck driving company easily. The learning approach followed is general so that you can apply them wherever applicable. Whereas when you take the course from the trucking company school they Heavy rigid licence will follow a customized learning pattern which is used in their trucking company to dispatch available loads. Thus you may lack the competing knowledge when compared with the independent school truck driving course.

First I like to point out the legal side. This is a BIG ONE. Being a truck driver is fun and you can make a lot, or a ton of money. So what do I mean legal? Because we both know that you need a CDL license to drive... When I say legal we are looking at your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). Why is this important? If you have 1 too many violations most trucking companies will not hire you. This is what the HR Truck Licence schools do not tell you.

Once you successfully pass the driving course then you will go to work for the company that hired you during your training period as a driver trainee. You will be coupled up with a more seasoned driver for a certain amount of time, probably not less than a month and longer in some cases.

So, doubtless you are convinced that dog training is critical and there is no time like the present. After you research your dog training options, get started and have fun. Take my word for it, a trained dog is much more fun than a jumping, slobbering mess. My dog was an honor graduate of his courses and just a test shy of becoming a therapy dog and he's still a jumping, slobbering mess, but that's another story entirely...
